VisionAIR Introduces New Release of VisionMOBILE for Law and Fire
Castle Hayne, NC—March 4, 2008—VisionAIR®, a leading provider of public safety software, announces the general availability of its newest
Mobile Data Solution, VisionMOBILE LAW and VisionMOBILE FIRE. VisionAIR clients,
primarily the VisionMOBILE Focus Group, played an integral role in defining key
features to ensure that the product meets the growing needs of mobile data users.
“We were fortunate to be a limited availability site for the new VisionMOBILE release,”
said Lieutenant Brett Kirby with the Westport Fire Department (CT). “The new look
is more intuitive and agency specific, connectivity and integration between VisionMOBILE
and VisionFIRE is seamless, and the interface from VisionAIR to GeoComm Mapping
works wonderfully.” Lieutenant Kirby continued, “The application upgrade has proved
to be extremely beneficial to the end users. We are very happy with the results
of this new release." The new VisionMOBILE release incorporates enhanced integration
with the products in VisionAIR’s Public Safety Suite, updated technology, and a
new look and feel with an innovative graphic user interface. The most prominent
example of the new look is the Dispatch Module with a completely fresh design for
VisionMOBILE LAW and VisionMOBILE FIRE.
