Mike Lyons, President and CEO
Mike Lyons serves as president and chief executive officer at VisionAIR. In this role, Mr. Lyons leads VisionAIR’s efforts to serve the company’s growing client base and enhance their long-term use of VisionAIR’s solutions. Mr. Lyons was previously with Printrak, the wholly owned public safety division of Motorola, Inc., where he was the general manager and vice president for the public safety computer aided dispatch and records management division. Mr. Lyons also served as vice president of operations in charge of the delivery and service of Printrak’s suite of public safety products.
At Printrak, Mr. Lyons was instrumental in the creation of the infrastructure that supported the company’s growth in the 1990s. Under his management, the CAD and records management division grew four-fold, strengthened its relationships with clients, and integrated into the Motorola parent structure following Printrak’s acquisition in 2001.
Prior to Printrak, Mr. Lyons served in operations management roles for Micro General Corporation and Western Digital Corporation, both in southern California.

Samuel Hensley, Executive Director of Finance
Samuel Hensley is the executive director of finance and secretary for VisionAIR. In this role, Mr. Hensley oversees the finance department including management of the finance, accounting, human resources, and network IT functions. In addition to maintaining the company's fiscal records, Mr. Hensley also maintains cash management activities and investor relations.
Prior to joining VisionAIR in 1998, Mr. Hensley served as an accountant for a public accounting firm in North Carolina and Pennsylvania. In this role, his duties included income tax preparations and auditing activities.
Mr. Hensley graduated from James Madison University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1996.

Mark Andrews, Director of Operations
As VisionAIR’s director of operations, Mark Andrews leads VisionAIR’s project management, account management, training, installations and custom development organizations. Since joining VisionAIR in 2002, Mr. Andrews has emphasized the need to automate and improve the services VisionAIR provides to its clients. Prior to joining VisionAIR, Mr. Andrews served as Director of Development Projects for Broadband Technologies in Research Triangle Park, NC.
At BroadBand, Mr. Andrews led corporate R&D projects for three generations of broadband transport systems designed to deliver integrated voice, data and video service via fiber optics to residential customers.
Mr. Andrews holds a BSEET degree from the University of North Carolina – Charlotte and has completed graduate studies in computer science, data communications, and business management.

Jeff Beard, Director of Engineering
Jeff Beard serves as director of engineering at VisionAIR. In this role, Mr. Beard leads VisionAIR’s software development organization and is responsible for VisionAIR’s development, product test, and maintenance functions. VisionAIR’s engineering team designs and develops solutions and applications that provide long term value to the Public Safety industry.
Mr. Beard was previously with Nortel Networks, a world wide provider of telecommunications software and equipment. During this 10 year tenure Mr. Beard served in maintenance, sustaining, development, product test, and product test management roles.
Mr. Beard earned a B.S. degree in pure mathematics from the College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina.

Bob Koenig, Director of Sales
In the role of director of sales, Bob Koenig serves leads the VisionAIR sales efforts i focusing on bringing VisionAIR solutions to new clients and enhancing the experience for existing clients. In this position, Mr. Koenig brings with him years of hands-on VisionAIR product and sales experience.
Mr. Koenig was previously with Independence Communications, Inc. where he was the founder and Manager of the Major Projects Division. This division was created in 1999 to focus on Systems Integration for Public Safety Agencies, primarily 911 Centers and Mobile Data Systems. This division grew from $500,000.00 in revenue its first year to over $10,000,000.00 in revenue in 2003.
Prior to Independence Communications, Inc., Mr. Koenig served as Vice President of Sales for VCR Lab in Northeast Ohio.
Mr. Koenig earned a degree in architecture from the University of Cincinnati, Ohio.

Mitzi Kincaid, Director of Legal Relations and Risk Management
Mitzi Kincaid is VisionAIR’s director of legal relations and risk management. Prior to joining VisionAIR, Ms. Kincaid helped start BellSouth’s cellular phone company (now Cingular Wireless) in 1996 as a regional financial analyst in Charlotte. She moved to Raleigh in 1999 and worked for the North Carolina State Treasurer as an auditor and then with Bell+Howell, an international company specializing in mail sorting machines where she worked in management and started law school. One year in to law school she and her husband moved to Wilmington, and Mitzi began work at VisionAIR while commuting to Durham in the evening to complete the remaining 3 years of her law degree.
Ms. Kincaid is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association and the American Bar Association where she is a member of the business law section, intellectual property section, the wills and probate section, and the GP/Solo section.
Ms. Kincaid volunteers with the Special Olympics, the Food Bank of North Carolina, Habitat for Humanity, and the American Heart Association. Ms. Kincaid is also a member of the University of North Carolina – Wilmington Employer Advisory Board and a member of the Cameron Executive Network.
Ms. Kincaid earned a J.D. from North Carolina Central School of Law and a B.S.B.A., Business Administration, from the University of North Carolina – Charlotte. |
