"Michael Price was very professional in handling this issue. He made the effort to contact me to see if our problem was resolved. When I told him it had not been resolved he stayed with me to see that this problem was resolved. In just a matter of minutes Michael had our problem resolved and I was able to go home. Thanks, Michael!"

SERVER VIRTUALIZATION

Virtual server is a viable solution for agencies, with the IT competency and appropriate hardware, wishing to limit their number of physical servers. VisionAIR allows virtualization for all products. VisionAIR does not warrant the performance of a VisionAIR application in a virtual environment.

Given the typical agencies need for performance and up time, we strongly recommend that each agency carefully engineer its virtual environment to provide for the desired performance and quality of service. The performance requirements for VisionAIR’s applications are defined for a non virtual environment. These requirements should be referenced for agencies using dedicated servers as well as those agencies using a virtual environment to understand the resources required by VisionAIR’s server applications.

To aid those agencies choosing to use a virtual environment, we encourage virtual server users to submit knowledgebase articles with tips and advice which we will gladly publish on the VisionAIR CSC website. VisionAIR is actively pursuing a relationship with VMware to become a VMware Technology Alliance Partner with a VMware Certified Professional on staff.

EMPLOYEE PROFILE: Suzanne Piccolo

Two years ago Suzanne started helping many of you when you called into Client Services. She still helps many of you, but with her recent move into Client Sales, now she helps turn your “wish list” into reality.

Representing 140 agencies in 18 states, Suzanne assists existing clients with software, interface, upgrade, and add-on purchases for all VisionAIR products as well as our custom and third-party offerings.

The move into sales provides Suzanne the opportunity to work with more departments internally and to have more exposure to the public safety industry overall, which she appreciates. She has also been learning how each state and individual agency operates internally – from budget cycles and funding to workflows and processes. She then uses that information to determine the VisionAIR offerings that best fit their needs and when.

Prior to VisionAIR, Suzanne worked in technical support and network administration for a national sales and marketing firm in Charlotte, NC. She earned her Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA) from Radford University in Virginia.

“With this new position, I am looking forward to scheduling more onsite visits and meeting clients face-to-face at our upcoming Users Conference,” Suzanne said. “I am really trying to determine the needs and challenges each agency I represent is facing, so I can better assist them in making public safety technology work to their advantage.”

CLIENT INCENTIVE PROGRAM

If you provide VisionAIR a new lead (i.e. a non-VisionAIR client looking for CAD/RMS/MOBILE software) that turns into a signed contract where that agency becomes a VisionAIR client, then you will receive:

  • $500 Donation/Sponsorship to Fundraiser of Your Choice
  • One complimentary pass for VisionAIR’s next Users Conference & VIP treatment to include: upgrade hotel to suite, gift basket, and breakfast/lunch with Mike Lyons
  • VisionAIR shirt
  • Assortment of VisionAIR promotional items
  • Recognition in VisionAIR’s newsletter
Thank you to the 10 individuals who have provided 15 leads in April/May/June!
Keep them coming!

To provide a new lead, email Sales.
