Murfreesboro Police Department (TN) to Gain New Technology and Integration with VisionAIR Solution

VisionAIR’s Public Safety Suite® will provide officers enhanced technology to better serve the community.

Castle Hayne, NC—June 5, 2008—VisionAIR®, a leading provider of public safety software, announces a new contract with the City of Murfreesboro in Tennessee. After 18 months of searching for a new vendor, the Murfreesboro Police Department is replacing their current system, which is close to 10 years old.

The contract consists of products from VisionAIR’s Public Safety Suite, including: VisionCAD, computer-aided dispatch; VisionRMS, law enforcement records management system; VisionMOBILE, mobile data solution; VisionFBR, field-based reporting; VisionINFORM, web-based data sharing solution; and VisionLMS, learning management system.

The contract also includes VisionAIR’s solution for accessing legacy data, VisionMNHS, as well as third-party products from GeoComm, APS, and CryWolf. Additionally, VisionAIR will provide interfaces to: TIES/NCIC; Traffic and Criminal Software Application (TraCS); and Firehouse Fire RMS, fire records management system.
