VisionCAD
VisionCAD provides communication centers with a dependable, configurable, and easy to use Computer-Aided Dispatch system. This powerful solution enables communications centers to increase productivity and reduce response time. VisionCAD helps ensure that the right resources are on scene as quickly as possible while taking into account the safety of responding units.
VisionCAD is designed to function within a single agency or in a multi-agency environment. The robust features of VisionCAD allow it to function as a stand alone product or in conjunction with VisionAIR's Public Safety Suite ® . We offer monitor only modes for remote locations, such as the watch commander’s or chief’s office. Command line entry provides a fast method of entering unit status information and performing a number of routine tasks from the keyboard. |

When running VisionGIS and AVL, VisionCAD provides: unit recommendation based on real-time location, drag and drop dispatching from the map, incident initiation from the map, the ability to update unit status from the map, and Wireless Phase II compliancy. |

| VisionCAD interfaces with GeoComm’s GIS applications; Emergin’s Alphanumeric Paging system, which sends call data out to pagers with one button; Medical Priority Dispatch’s ProQA Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD); 911 ® controllers for ANI/ALI information; and a fax interface. VisionCAD is highly integrated with the Public Safety Suite . |
| SEPARATION OF CALL TAKER & DISPATCHER FUNCTIONS |
| The new Call Taker position restricts the user to call entry information and does not allow access to unit or radio activity associated with a call. This is a configurable option, so agencies that have dedicated call takers can use it while other agencies that have combined call takers and dispatchers may disable this option. |
| ACCESS TO RMS ALERTS, HISTORY, & MUG SHOTS FROM CAD SUBJECT RECORDS |
| VisionCAD and VisionRMS work together to provide dispatchers a warning when a subject record entered in VisionCAD matches alerts, histories, or mug shots in VisionRMS. |

VisionCAD: FIRE
VisionCAD includes many features designed specifically for the fire service industry. Departments of all sizes have the ability to define unit suggestions based on their standard operating procedures.
VisionCAD allows multi - jurisdictional agencies the ability to track multiple departments, each reporting under their own FDID number. Agencies can also track all related run numbers, which is imperative for NFIRS reporting. VisionCAD also supports mutual
aid, suggesting, and tracking units within and outside your jurisdiction. |

| EASY ACCESS TO DATA |
VisionCAD allows for entry and quick access of all incident type instructions, including different sets of SOPs for each responding department. Pre-defined
reports are available for response times, unit activity, run number generation, call activity, etc. Also, VisionCAD allows users to create agency specific reports. VisionCAD has the ability to record data for each address, including hazardous materials, medical concerns, special needs, directions, contacts, fire plans, and automatically alerts telecommunicators when any of these data elements are present. Users have access to fire plans built in VisionCAD and/or VisionFIRE. VisionCAD can automatically transfer appropriate data to VisionFIRE for NFIRS reporting. Users also have the ability to export CAD
data to be used by third-party fire reporting products. |
| CONFIGURABLE FOR FIRE |
| VisionCAD records specific unit functions, such as defibrillator, paramedic, hazmat, and extrication. VisionCAD also designates “special” units, such as ladder, pumper, battalion chief, and more. Highly configurable fire and EMS run cards and run zones are available to define agency specific response. VisionCAD also provides for responses based on geography as well as specific dispatches based on type of call and number of alarms. VisionCAD uses various filters so that each workstation may be configured to view calls for any or all the fire zones and units for which they are responsible. The flexible nature of VisionCAD also provides for user-defined status. |

| VisionCAD is integrated with VisionFIRE and VisionMOBILE FIRE. Information transfers seamlessly from one
product to the other to reduce data entry. Information is delivered to the field units quickly and comprehensively.
Auto creation of fire and EMS numbers for multiple departments is provided as well. |
